A 'Facade'.... A cover, a colorful (or colorless) mask. This 'Facade' is something that allows us to 'warm up' to a person. Should this 'Facade' be a necessity? Or should it be eliminated entirely? First, it would be quite important to mention that a facade is something necessary in order to achieve social prowess and obtain conversational poise. Without a cover-up, we would not therefore be able to select leaders, friends, and acquaintances. But, rather, should we all select people based on their 'Facade'? What lurks behind the mask? Quite honestly, i would much rather live with one who confidently displays his or her inner motives than one who hides behind secrets and lies. To select a leader for your country.. Are you really going to choose someone who admits to having had skeletons in his closet? It would not seem logical. We humans are obsolete, in that we expect perfection.
In the eyes of a typical man, he sees and mingles only with those who he finds to be 'good'. This perception, of course, could vary from person to person, but really, it most surely comes down to how the individual effectively utilizes 'Facade'. Interestingly, this skill is one which only requires a great deal of deception or even, acting skills in order to be used correctly. To look at this issue objectively, we must admit that there are indeed two sides to this skill. A use of facade offers ease of tension, a great start to a relationship, and a simple way to begin a friendship. Lack of facade offers a 'take it or leave it' approach, at the risk of more lost relationships. This 'Facade' can bring one to the highest points of popularity, but at what cost? A loss of character perhaps? A life shrouded in mystery? An over dependence upon fate and the hopeful mentality that it will all 'stay hidden under the rug'? The use of 'Facade' in every endeavor is foolish, indeed. We can all see that. But, what if, say, a man is a professional in his workplace. Would it be wise to, say, reveal everything about his character to a new customer? No. He must make use of 'Facade'. This 'Facade' can be used in a variety of situations, but i believe it is a matter of whether one is seeking a shallow or deep relationship. A lack of facade can result in disastrous results professionally, but amazing results casually. A simple-minded person could be deterred by a 'Here I am!' approach. This could save one from being taken advantage of by a person, who cannot deal with the faults of others, and is therefore, unable to deal with his/her own 'faults', thus aiming to create an unbreakable, intimate relationship.
I come to this conclusion as thus, "'Facade' is both a tool and a curse, in that it can be used effectively, when the timing is right. If used professionally, the results are beautiful; casually, potentially fatal. I note here that 'Facade' is even more effective when used with a tool i call 'Intuitive Reasoning'(More on this later), which allows one to rely on a gut feeling initially, and then reason the feeling against social clues and body language."
